First Proper Entry.

Has anyone visited our college website lately? Hmm. Problems trying to view it? Well, maybe, JUST MAYBE it's because as of this entry, WE DON'T HAVE A COLLEGE WEBSITE ? The only thing that we do seem to have is the URL which happens to be widely distributed via the back of our cool college t-shirt. Both the white and blue ones.

So, I took the liberty of creating and (hopefully) mantaining this weblog as a (again hopefully) temporary replacement for our college's virtual front.

Why do you bother ?
Well, for one thing, it keeps an up to date record of the happenings in our college. From inter-house competitions to the latest dedication-sales. From the most recently hired teacher to the latest song played by our headmaster during assembly.

I thought we already have a student website in the form of ai.net ?
That's a splendid site. But it can only be accessed internally i.e. through the students network. This site however will (I never stop being hopeful) be accessible by civilisation (READ : Anywhere outside of KMYS). People need to know what's going on in college. Be it your parents, your siblings, your ex-classmates, rival colleges (KMB is one. Heck, even THEY have a website of some sort. hehe no offence meant.), our seniors, super-seniors and super-duper seniors. Basically everyone OUTSIDE of college. A point worthy of note: sometimes we KMYS denizens also seem to be unaware of the current happenings in college. For such a small college as ours (roughly 342 students; 80 staff + teachers) this is quite alarming.

Hmm... What's the catch ?
Everything of course will be entered based on my biased, shrewd, calculative and cynical point of view. muahahahaha.
But, seriously, please take in every opinionated entry with a grain of salt. It'll reduce any stomach upset. Trust me.

Who are you again ?!?
Its me, hazwan. the dude from chalet P 05 of Topaz. (memorize this address to ease any chocolate/flowers/sweets etc. dedication procedures. hehe)

In short, this site is a voice of the average KMYS student. Disagree? Feel free to reply/comment/critic on the available tagboard to your left. :)
