So begins the bilingual college signature tune.

Its been a couple of weeks since the college received its new hoard of over-eager over-achieving brats. Two weeks since those we fondly called our juniors began their new tenure as the big cheese of the college (mr small, pn rog, bursar, teachers, staff, janitors and monkeys aside.)

Two weeks since I planned this posting and saved it as draft. hehe.

Okay, we have a bit of catching up to do. So what has happened? There was induction week.

Then there was the PETRONAS PANDEMONIUM. To summarise, its the whole farce about the WONDERFUL Petronas Management changing their minds last minute and shipping all the UK bound KMB petronas engineers to Australia and New Zealand. Now for the record, there's nothing wrong with Australian or New Zealand education. Its just that Petronas simply pulled the rug from under them a few days before our BTN. It was Madness.

And Petronas didn't even tell them personally. They only found out they were redirected to Aus and NZ when the good people of IDP (and I suppose its NZ counterpart) called them up to "congratulate them on receiving unconditional offers to so and so university in Australia".

Imagine the shock! Now the thing is, the same could happen to Petronas students from KYUEM and KTJ. Click here for some FAQ's by good ol' Fez. There are conflicting stories about what's to become of us since Petronas, being the super fortune-500 professional company that they are, doesn't seem to be able to get its story straight. It seems like even they don't know what's going to happen. Yup, that's our pride and joy right there. Malaysia Boleh! haha.

I do miss college right now. The juniors seem to be made up of very very fun people, just the thing the valley needs. Thanks VeritasOnline and Nickypang for keeping us updated! =)
